"In contemplating the essence of life's impermanence and beauty, I am compelled to share my perspective both as an artist and human being. Through my eye and the lens of photography, I have always endeavored to encapsulate life's delicate ephemera while illuminating its extraordinary beauty.
The conversation surrounding life's impermanence is often sidestepped, as it delves into uncomfortable territories of our own mortality. My own journey, marked by the early loss of family and a very recent (while building this site) personal confrontation with health and my mortality, has imbued me with a profound comprehension and appreciation for life's transience.
Ironically, amidst crafting this platform to share my photographic creations, I found myself confronting the reality of my own mortality. This stark revelation has served as a poignant reminder of life's fragility and the inherent beauty permeating our existence. Each day is a blessing and gift and each new day is not guaranteed. This glaring realization furthermore solidified my conviction in sharing this work with the world.
Each morning, as I awaken to a new dawn, I am reminded of the intrinsic splendor of life. It is with a sense of pride and fulfillment that I embark on the arduous yet rewarding task of curating my life's personal work and launching this platform. Through the website, I hope to offer a collection of unique images (created over 20 years) as a poignant reminder of life's inherent beauty, urging others to cherish and value each fleeting moment we have and share.
I hope this sentiment comes through in my images and mostly as a collector, I hope you appreciate some of these images and captured moments and can cherish them on your walls for years to come."

The impermanence of life can be seen as beautiful, as it reminds us to appreciate the present moment and cherish the experiences we have. On the other hand, a photograph has the power to capture a moment in time, preserving it indefinitely. It allows us to revisit memories, evoke emotions, and share stories even when time has passed. The contrast between life's impermanence and the lasting nature of a photograph creates a fascinating dynamic.
Beauty Of Impermanence (B.O.I.) has been created to share the personal work of Mark Squires. Mark's photography has always been an effort for him to capture and appreciate each precious present moment and share his perspective with the world.
For the first time ever these personal images are being shared and offered as framed and matted prints for you to enjoy on your walls in an effort to also help us all appreciate the beauty of life’s precious moments and to bring beauty into your lives.
